Unless otherwise noted, all shows are free and open to the public.  Opening receptions are each second Saturday of the month from 6-9 pm, part of the Coordinated Gallery Openings on Columbia Street.

January 13 — 15^th Annual Jack Swanson Open Photography Exhibition (Juried)

February 10 — Ongoing studio art classes; no opening due to Olympia Parade

March 10 — Spring for Art: Charles Blank, STAA featured artist

Art House Academy Open House with Demonstration 

April 14 — Charles Blank Lecture/presentation; Maurice LeGardeur book reading “The Bard of Boston Street”

May 12 — Portraiture Exhibition (artists TBA)

June 9 — Lecture/presentation on Portrait Theme show

July 14 — 42^nd Annual Juried Exhibition Opening Reception and Awards

August 11 — 42^nd Annual Juried Exhibition Closing Reception, Presentation

September 8 — Group Show with John Valentino, Dale Newkirk and Ruth Siporski

October 13 — Fall for Art/ Featured artist David Horton and Robert Carpenter

November 10 — All Members 50th Anniversary Exhibition- salon style

December 8 — Starry, Starry Night Patron Party and Art Auction

2008  Preview

January 12 — Handmade Musical Instruments featuring musical performance

February 8 — Geaux Arts Masquerade Ball (free/open to the public on Saturday, February 9)

March 8 — Funerary ceramics invitational.  Original, handmade urns.

Coincides with 2008 New Orleans convention of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA), a professional association of individuals and organizations whose interests, talents and careers are focused on the ceramic arts.
